Obstacles to Enforcement

Execution is a legal process which involves the forcible removal of goods belonging to a judgment debtor. Money Claim Manager enables you to:

apply for the issue of a warrant of execution so that a county court bailiff can recover the judgment debt; or

where appropriate, transfer your county court judgment to the high court via the Sheriffs Lodgment Centre so that a High Court Enforcement Officer can recover the money owed to you.

Inevitably you are going to encounter obstacles to this process, either through the legal system itself, or by the judgment debtor putting obstacles in the way to prevent the removal of goods from the premises.
